AMATA
Building an online home for timeless, slow-made outdoor furniture.

A word from the client
We were looking for a reliable partner and right away felt we were on the same page. Zuper was great at hearing our wants and needs while also offering their own input and perspective. They were quick to respond and had great communication throughout. The new store not only looks great but also offers a significantly improved user experience.
The challenge
After 30+ years of B2B success, AMATA wanted to go direct-to-consumer. This slow-made wood furniture brand had made a previous attempt to launch a B2C line, but without the right ecommerce strategy, the store never gained traction. They came to us with a clear vision, a timeless product, and a need for a store that could position luxury furniture in a market full of quick, seasonal buys.
Results
By combining luxury storytelling with ecommerce best practices, we helped AMATA relaunch DTC the right way. We designed and built a custom Shopify store for the slow buyer—someone who researches, compares, and buys with intention. AMATA’s new store proves that even high-ticket, seasonal products can thrive online. With a rising average order value, and 2.4 items per order, customers aren’t just browsing—they’re committing. More importantly, AMATA now has a digital foundation that reflects its craftsmanship and sets the brand up to scale beyond B2B.
