AMATA
Building an online home for timeless, slow-made outdoor furniture.

A word from the client
We were looking for a reliable partner and right away felt we were on the same page. Zuper was great at hearing our wants and needs while also offering their own input and perspective. They were quick to respond and had great communication throughout. The new store not only looks great but also offers a significantly improved user experience.
The challenge
After 30+ years of B2B success, AMATA wanted to go direct-to-consumer. This slow-made wood furniture brand had made a previous attempt to launch a B2C line, but without the right ecommerce strategy, the store never gained traction. They came to us with a clear vision, a timeless product, and a need for a store that could position luxury furniture in a market full of quick, seasonal buys.
Solution
We built a store that sells more than furniture—it sells the lifestyle. By combining luxury storytelling with ecommerce best practices, we helped AMATA relaunch DTC the right way. We designed and built a custom Shopify store for the slow buyer—someone who researches, compares, and buys with intention.

AMATA’s new store proves that even high-ticket, seasonal products can thrive online. With a 42.9% sell-through rate, rising average order value, and 2.4 items per order, customers aren’t just browsing—they’re committing. More importantly, AMATA now has a digital foundation that reflects its craftsmanship and sets the brand up to scale beyond B2B.

With their new online store, AMATA is now equipped to scale their direct-to-consumer offering, strengthen brand visibility, and grow a loyal customer base beyond B2B.
A well-structured product page that does justice to quality
Every detail of AMATA’s product page is designed to echo the craftsmanship behind the furniture itself. Clean content hierarchy, striking visuals, and clear feature highlights do more than just inform—they communicate quality at a glance.

Craftsmanship doesn't rush. So we built a catalog that invites customers to explore
Most outdoor furniture brands lean hard on warm-weather sales. We planned for that. The catalog isn’t tied to a season; it’s built to last. We leaned into storytelling, space, and visual detail—mirroring the pace and intention behind each product. AMATA is now built to outlast seasonal spikes.

Bringing brand's slow-wood values to life through visual storytelling
In a world of fast furniture, AMATA moves differently. Their story isn’t about trends—it’s about craft, skill, and a commitment to our planet's long-term goals. The visuals bring that story to life.
